Did you watch Apple‘s unveiling of their new AMAZING product the iPad? Did you salivate and wish you had one already? We sure did. You can probably guess how excited we were when Apple gave our manager Wes a call a few days ago asking if they could use our song “Almost Everything…” for thee iPad “how-to” video on their website. We’ve been long-time Apple users and are thrilled to be involved in a small way in the launch of this amazing product. And just in case you’re wondering, no we don’t have one yet haha. So I go to my trailer today and find my wardrobe. With the tshirt I wear in the scene was a huge bulky winter coat that was pretty ugly. I tried it on thinking that I would never wear a coat like that and wondering what wardrobe was up to. They really enjoy dressing my character, and work with me pretty directly on everything I wear. Anyway, I suck it up and come out to do the scene. Halfway through the first take, I hear a quiet laughter spreading from the area where the director and producers sit. By the time they yelled cut, pretty much everyone was laughing but me. Turns out I was wearing what’s known as a warmy coat. A coat that they give you when you’re dressed sparsly on a chilly set. Basically I looked like a huge nerd. They slowly regained control of the crew and my chuckling scene partner and we started over. Something tells me I’ll be hearing about this one for a long time…

How to become a cartoon character.
With the help of the talented crew at Super!Alright!, that is. I felt like I was on set for Avatar 2, with green screens and all. They shot me from all sides, doing tons of expressions, and jumping in the air. Please excuse my shirt and tie, it was for the sake of the illustrators. Can’t wait to see how it comes out!
